    Yeah.

The former owner there was more interested in being the players friend.

    And sexually harassing female employees.

Gettleman built a team there that flirted with a perfect season a few years ago. Ultimately finished 17-2 with a loss in the Super Bowl.

The Giants are going to be good REAL GOOD in 2018 probably until 2020 when Eli gets too old. The Giants are tring to win another Super Bowl or two before Eli gets too old/give him the type of end to his career Denver gave his brother Peyton.

Thank Eli for probably being the best QB the Giants have ever had & Gettleman for being wise enough to know what he has in Eli for Darnold dropping to us.

What are you talking about man? He was BLESSED into that team...

He did not "build" that 2015 Carolina Panthers team.

It was already built for him.

They had 8 All-Pro's that season along with an additional 2 Pro-Bowlers.

    LB: Thomas Davis (2005).
    C: Ryan Kalil (2007).
    RB: Jonathan Stewart (2008). (PB).
    QB: Cam Newton (2011).
    TE: Greg Olsen (2011).
    LB: Luke Kuechly (2012).
    CB: Josh Norman (2012).
    FB: Mike Tolbert (2012).

That creates for 8 out of their 10 All-Pro/Pro Bowl players in which were (all) already there BEFORE the arrival of Gettleman (2013).

Along with a bunch of other key contributers who were ALREADY there prior to "2013" .

Gettleman is super overrated and built nothing.

First drafts are tough as you need to be somewhat differ to your scouts and be a “team player”.

  5. Their defense is nothing special & the secondary is questionable at best.

Offensively the OL is average & Eli has seen better days. The hype & dynamic of the selection of Barkely means that if hes anything short of top 5 RB even early on year 1 & then top 3 there after hes an utter failure. I loved him as a prospect but in no way would i make those type of guarantees about him.

My impartial giants buddy says 7-9..ill throw em a bone & go a game better at 8-8.

Indianapolis Colts vs New York Giants is my Super Bowl pick for this season.

12-4 to 14-2 is my guess.

the relevance of those 2nd round picks is: back when the jets got joe willie, the owner , gm, head coach all prioritized the offensive line to protect him.

we all saw what happened to chad when the team let go of 3 starters on the line because they couldn't pay them. draft choices are 4 or 5 year cap bargains .

we relie far too much on expensive free agents . drafting priorities need to change.
