He had a problem with Master Chan which is why he left. Not sure how much he's got left in the tank but compared to some of the driftwood we have at Wr, it can't hurt having him on the team.
Interesting. And we dropped the fullback instead of a wideout. Anyways, always liked JK as a receiver but not as a punt returner. Good insurance and good route runner for the youngsters to learn from their rookie season. Hopefully, both Stewart and Hansen can overtake him by the 2nd half but the competition just got much better on the team. There will be more moves I think.
He provides a safety valve for McCown and Petty, and can fair catch a punt like no one else in the league.
Wouldn't you say we are moving backwards with this signing? All Mac had to do was keep Decker for another year and we would have been ok at WR until then.Instead he looks to the past ....to a guy he didn't want .Same with Demario Davis....only we traded for him.
Well, that was before Enunwa went down. You have to see if Deck can stay healthy though. Loved him as a Jet but not at his salary.
They need someone who can actually catch a punt and then actually hold on to the ball afterwards. Decker and Harris are prolly about money also, and they were able to lose Pryor while they were at it.
I'm ok with this lol. At least mac did address the WR position. he traded for kearse and brought in kerly. we are better at WR then we were a month ago. hard to complain too much
decker had a lot of money tied up for multiple years. kerley is a 1 year cheap deal. niether are in the long term plans so it makes sense to shed the extra money
This is good news for Robb anderson. Although Kerly is not a #1 wr he and Kersey will take some of the pressure off Robb as well as our rookies. As Kerly & Kersey are not game breakers, you can't sleep on them either. They are good enough to draw attention from the defense. The jets cut fb JH to make room.... no big loss
nothing out there. maybe bring in zuttah? outside of him nobody worth a dam. it'll have to wait until next season. we have money and picks so we could literally fix it in one offseason. 1-2 free agents and a good high pick (2nd round since we have 2 of them now) and we could be golden
