Kendall's extension, according to NFL sources, is for four seasons and $11.3 million. It includes a $3.9 million signing bonus and base salaries of $1.3 million this year, $1.7 million, $2 million and in 2009, $2.4 million. Kendall's salary-cap figure this season drops from $5.2 million to $2.3 million.

Not sure if the numbers were posted yet.

However, the Kendall numbers are in debate.

    Cimini reports 4 yrs, 9.5M cap # 2.6M
Lange reports 4 yrs 11.3M cap # 2.3M (which is wrong, he forgets about the 275K pro rated bonus Kendall has to be accounted for from a previous bonus)

Lange reports Kendall got 3.9M signing bonus. Using cimini's #s and some algebra, Kendall got a 650K roster bonus and 1.5M signing bonus

However, the quote is new. :) Seems like the Jets may draft a QB after all. This deal really seems like it allows the team and the player to see where they want to go after the coming season.

So far the line shapes up as Jones-Goodwin-Kendall-Moore-Cavka/Gragg.
I fully expect an upgrade of the LG and RT spots.

I agree with the anticipated upgrades but I thought that Goodwin was a free agent as of now.

Goodwin is a good backup but was horrible as a starter. I am not sure about the free agency status but that may be why they acquired Morley.

Yes, he was disappointing when he got a chance to start.
