I know this has been rode HARD into the ground, but outside of my elation from it being a productive night I kept thinking just how great those kelly greens looked! It suits the team so much better. I don't like the reflective logos but man that kelly beats the heck out of that green/black color that has slowly gotten darker and darker over the last decade. Bring back kelly! *EDIT* When I speak of these "jerseys" I am referring to the jersey it's self and more so the color, NOT the uniform as a whole. I do not condone the accessories/design: facemask, decal, same color pants, logo, etc.
Uniform did look really nice. Not sure if Jets should switch completely, but I'd like to see that uniform multiple times a year.
Loved the kelly green jerseys and the logos. I like the simple stripes over the shoulder more than the sleeve combo we sport now. Match those with white pants, and those would be sweet unis. If nothing else, just go back to the bright, kelly green.
They absolutely should switch back. Looks fantastic. Woody would make millions on all us idiots re buying merch. Also, never wear green pants and green jersey's together again. Best case would be our current uniforms updated to use "color rush" green. And only one shade of green, the darker shoulder stripe and logo drive me nuts.
The Jerseys were alright last night. Better than what they wear week-in-and-week-out. Green pants are the devil. *Images of ideal Jets uniforms from 1998 don't appear to be functioning*
Those Kelly green jerseys with white pants would be an awesome combo. Hope they decide to use those unis more often, like when the Pats used their color rush unis against the Falcons a few Sundays ago.
I love the Uni's from last night Simple but modern, the chrome facemask and decal adds a modern touch without the uniforms being too busy like the new Bucs uni's I would love for us to make the switch to something similar as a permanent uniform Only change i would make is to match the green strip to the match the same green. Looks like its a darker green. Or ev en the same design as our usual jersey just in the kelly green color
Wait a minute ... there are people who think those costumes they wore last night look good? They looked like they were designed by the never-saw-a-football-game-in-my-life Hollywood crowd who made the uniforms for "Any Given Sunday". GOD AWFUL
Those uniforms were 100 times better then the swamp green outfits we normally wear. Even the helmet was better. Our white uniforms are great but our home greens are the leagues worst
I'll take the kelly green with an updated modern but classic jersey, white pants and a new logo for the helmet.
Those kelly's have to be the ugliest colors a football team has ever worn - just make them wear yellow daises and be done with it. Change the team's name to the NY Dandelions.
