I don't think it was ever in doubt. AFAIK Denver doesn't have a single QB on their roster, or at least one with any experience or talent. Getting Kaepernick was an absolute MUST for them. They have more cap space than us, and I doubt the Browns would have been so foolish as to give up their #1 or #2 for Kaepernick.
Well, a lot of these same reporters were saying that osweiler resigning with the Broncos was a given, and then shit twisted in their faces. I'd take it with a grain of salt.

Goff would be a very nice fit for them. they'd be taking a gamble he'd be there tho, cause if he's not they're left with only Gabbert.
I think there's a good chance they do go QB at #1 but I think Chip will want him to sit for a year. Especially if he like a bigger more mobile QB like Lynch. Fitz is a smarter QB imo than Gabbert and you know he likes to run with it which is what Chip likes. You need to just accept the fact that the starting job is Geno's to lose... Hahahaha But I think there's a good chance a top 3 QB will be there for up at #20 but forward thinking thinking Mac is going to keep him in the wrapper for the first year.
Bc Geoff is the only QB in the draft? Your post confuses me. I've read somewhere that there's at least 5 QB in the draft... Maybe even 10! That's gonna totally suck if the only QB is gone and all the fa qbs decide to retire. They'll be left with only Gabbert
