True. But you know the stupidity these kids show when they're young, many grow out of it when they see how the world works. Or they end up destitute losers.

Josh Allen has a good test against Iowa next week.

I'll be watching all of his games ... somehow

 

Checked out some Jarrett Stidham tape; he might be my early favorite. First the negatives. They say he is a dual threat guy but I don't see elite mobility and/or improvisational skills. It wasn't a big sample size so maybe it's there; he has mastered the slide, some guys still haven't figured that (talking to you Geno). He also needs to add 5-10 pounds to his frame IMO; he's a little scrawny. But what I like is his feet (my # 1 trait), accuracy, ball placement, throws with great timing and anticipation. He should make a WCO coach very happy once he's in the league. He still has 3 years of eligibility so who knows when he might come out. Until he does Auburn will be must see TV for me.

 

He has to prove he can stay healthy before he earns any consideration for the draft. He started 3 games and was injured in his second and third game. Back injury in game 2 then hand injury and season ending broken ankle and fibula in game 3.
He had a year off in JUCO between Baylor and Auburn, should have used that time to bulk up.
It will be interesting to see how he does but this reminds me of Johnson at Auburn 2 years ago. Big difference between Baylors system and Auburns.
I think there's too much hype surrounding Stidham at this point.

 

I didn't know about the extent of his injuries or that there was a lot of hype I just know what I see on tape, and that, me likes very much.

 

All factors to consider in his overall evaluation.

 

Injuries certainly but who cares about hype.

 

We can get a look at Allen in just over an hour.

 

Watching him vs Iowa. Has a canon and accurate and mobile.

 

What score is it ?

 

I tried looking for a stream and found two but one was a paywall and the other my antivirus software shut it right down.
