Due to roster restrictions, the Jets can only keep a certain amount of players on the team. Right now there are 4 better Wr’s on the team in Enuwa, Anderson, Prior, and Kerse. The other 2 Wr’s, Roberts and Peake are on Special teams. There is no room for right now for Stewart or Hanson. They still need to develop
It does make a mockery of it, hell Hill should never have been in the building having a pre-draft visit anyway. As for Stewart, he has paid the price for his drug cheating and lack of anything remotely praiseworthy in practice and in the little game time he had.
As others have said, Macc needs to do better in the mid rounds. Just hitting on 1st rounders is not enough.

the "visionary" GM's before him made their picks and likely took "their" guys. our GM just sat back and let the board come to him and clearly took BPA. i realize that is a traditional and sound approach to drafting but it was certainly no great feat - as some claim. marino was indeed served to the jets on a platter but they were dumb enough to convince themselves they were outsmarting everyone.
