    You don't chase points unless you have a legit top 5 defense that you think can hold the opposing team..or it's in the forth quarter

    This is why you Kick the XP!!

    You now make it a 2 possession game. This Offense does not have the fortitude to score on 1 possession so you basically just shot yourself in the foot and set yourself up for an L

    Does Woody or Christopher (Wold) let Mac and Bowles remain after this year? Seems picks like Lee and Hack do not help Mac's case. Bowles is a defensive coordinator and we have a terrible defense.

    How? It's basic best case vs worst case scenario.

    Go for two and the best case scenario is we are tied but still need 1 score to win. But you miss it and give up a TD and you are 2 scores down.

    Kick the XP and you are down by 1 but still need 1 score to win. Practically the same place as getting the 2. But kick the XP and they score a TD and you are only down 1 score, which is hugely different than being down by two scores.

    It's absolutely the wrong call to go for 2 there as the worst case in missing is significantly worse than the best case in making it.

    Let's say we kicked the extra point. We'd STILL have to go for a 2pt conversion at some point. Now we have a sense of urgency instead of the bullshit clock mismanagement that Bowles is well known for.
