It's hard to get excited about Brian Poole over Bryce Callahan or Darqueeze Dennard. Similar to the C situation, I wondered why in the world Mac would not sign the best FA available at that position. I'm wondering if it has to do with cap space down the road. They aren't going to be able to pay everyone, even with a larger cap. With Mosley and Bell, that's a large chunk of cap space. Hopefully, some of their own players will prove worthy of 2nd contracts. While they can cut bait with some players next year and gain additional cap space, this decision could have just been a financial one.

Then again, I've seen is reported that Poole is more the type of slot CB that Williams likes and is a better fit. I like that he can blitz the QB, is a solid tackler, and can create TOs. We'll see how he does. Hopefully Nickerson learns and improves a lot this season and can eventually replace Poole.

Reading he is a younger/similar player to Buster. Tendency to whiff on tackles but I've seen vids of him laying out QB's so as long as he can repeat that play within the refs guidelines, I'll be v happy.

as a fan I'll root for him

but there's a reason the falcon were letting him go, and his market price is what it is -- and it's not the stats posted

Skrine was a penalty waiting to happen. I am actually surprised the jets let him play out his entire contract.

I think the jets are higher on Jones than Clark, but not sure either will ever see much playing time.

I wonder if he was a player that Greg Williams wanted for his rushing the Q/B plays?

Apparently cap and he was being outplayed by Damonte Kazee who is on a cheap rookie contract.

    Good signing.

I personally love Clark’s length and think he has more potential

I know NOTHING about this guy but damn, those are some really good numbers in terms of rushing the passer from a CB... Nice.

I gave credit to Mac for gambling with those two picks.

Clark was a great prospect --projected as a 2nd round pick--until he blew out his ACL at Michigan but he's a big, strong physical corner. If he got healthy he was a steal in the 6th.

Jones was a CB converted to WR then converted back to CB his senior year at Mississippi and is an extremely athletic fluid athlete with great ball skills and if he made the jump in the NFL would have also been a steal in the 6th.

Was hoping one of them panned out and we could have struck gold. Maybe this year.

Clark is gigantic for a CB. I've never thought CB will be his position in the NFL. Safety might be his future or maybe beef up for linebacker. But we have no idea of his tackling ability. No way could he handle CB with these speedy receivers. He would have been great for the 70's when CB could maul a WR all the way down the field.
