I doubt he plays more then a series. I expect to see hack play the majority of the game.

that would be insane UNLESS, the plan really is to tank the season. How do you start a Qb that's only played less than 1 half of football so far this year??

Why would we trade Marcus Williams?

What is more likely to happen, the Jets succeed in trading these players for reasonable value, or the United States launches a first strike on North Korea?

typically you don't but McCown is a 38 year old QB and starters rarely play in game 4 of the preseason. one series is the most you see. If history is any indication, we were planning on starting hack game 1. he has the most reps and he started game 3 and typically the starter always starts game 3. But with petty possibly unavailable, who knows at this point. not even sure of bowles has decided

He'll be busy counting that $6 mil on the sidelines all game.

Meanwhile, they will get Hack destroyed and then throw in Petty to finish him off. Right in time for week 1.

  8. They should proceed w caution before ditching yet another corner unless they're eyeing a cutdown like perhaps Kyle Fuller.Im asssuming they like Burris,Roberts,Jones & Bates down the road..but what happens after a couple injuries &/if the rookie safeties struggle? Could be just as ugly as late last season

Because he isn't part of the future. We should be trying to trade anyone & everyone that isn't. Problem is only Sheldon has any value at all.

I get what they're trying to do but honestly, how non competitive and pathetic do they want to make this team?

Yea Richardson can be immature but the guy has been nothing but a beast so far. So much bettee than the lazy Mo Wilk. Forte....fine, get rid of him. At least it means more action for Elijah McGuire.

Richardson will go somewhere and just be dominant. Prob win DPOY. We'll really regret this trade and we haven't even made it already.

This year is going to be the football version of 17 weeks of chemotherapy

    Well...the Fire Sale continues

The Jets organization will be known as something between Johns Bargain Store and Value City

Maybe we go from this dumpster fire to glory in 2018...hope we don't blow it

For what they're about to, and have, put us through they had better not mess up this rebuild.

I like forte a lot. Rb with him and Powell is all we got on offense. Hate to see him go. If he gets traded and Powell gets hurt like he always does then what ?

I can understand them trying to trade Sheldon, its similar to what Belichick does, get rid of them one year early as opposed to one year too late.

Richardson is a great defensive player. If we trade him and get some pilthy 3rd rounder in return it would be a disaster. I would rather sign him long term and make him a cornerstone of the D and just deal with his immaturity from time to time.

If we can't get a useful player for him (like an ot) or a 2nd rounder then I'm keeping him.

He's the primary backup at every CB position..

With Claiborne's injury history, and McDougle trade (another baffling move), it doesn't make sense to dump Williams.
Team is already very thin at CB.
