How this wasn't the #1 on ESPN's Not Top 10 is beyond me. Didn't even make it onto the list. They looked like idiots.
They looked like idiots but watching it live was pretty fun. Jamal Adams has moves, someone needs to get that man on Dancing with the Stars.
After the fact it seems a little excessive and immature, but watching it live gave me a good feeling. This is a good (mostly) young defensive core. Things like this show they're growing together and coming together as a unit and it brings excitement for what's to come. Top defense for years to come soon.
The dancing shows that the defense is in sncye with each other. I love that kind of enthusiasm. The D took a big step forward.
Seriously lmao. Anyone bashing this needs the stick out of.... Harmless moment. It's blown up on Twitter, everyones having fun with it. For once the Jets are on the right side of a social media blow up.
I'm old enough to remember when Mark Sanchez ate a cheeseburger on the sidelines during a preseason game and the NY sports media lost its collective mind.
Username checks out. They forced a turnover right after this so it's all good. It is a bit cringe-worthy to watch after the fact, but it was pretty great during the game. Even the announcers seemed to enjoy it. They're growing together and it's great to see.
You're right, I was thinking of the incident that precipitated the "Let's get a goddamn snack," lecture from Rex. Happened during one of the preseason games, when the Jets defense got McDonalds cheeseburgers and ate them on the field during warmups. The Sanchez hot dog incident was a different time during the regular season. As I remember it, the cheeseburger incident caused a "Rex has no discipline" meltdown from the the media, while the hot dog incident was mostly ignored.
They are bumblefucking around and behaving as though they have accomplished something, when in actuality, they are an average-at-best defense. It demonstrates a lack of seriousness, a lack of priorities, and a lack of self-awareness ... which is fine because the entire organization has demonstrated a lack of these three things for 45 years and it's why we've never won a goddamn thing (and are not close to winning a goddamn thing in the future).
+100 I thought it was cool and a sign that the D is coming together and these guys like each other. That happens to be a fantastic experience when a team is a team of players in it together and doing well for the whole; for the miserable, hating OP and anyone else that can't get with that, smh
