    Look at these I found:
    12-4-76
    Steelers 42, Buccaneers 0
    Buccaneers passed for 11 yards.

    12-12-76
    Bengals 42, Jets 3
    Jets passed for 8 yards.

    12-25-00
    Titans 31, Cowboys 0
    Cowboys passed for 9 yards.

1976 was in the "deadball" era of the NFL. It was much harder to pass back then. 1977 is littered with dreadful passing numbers.

But none of those teams had good starting quarterbacks.

So, I'll stick with what I wrote earlier. It is odd to see a team with a good starting QB pass for 71 yards* in a blowout because usually the team getting blown out will be able to gain yards through the air late in the game. Elvis Grbac type stuff.

*edit- Pennington passed for 71 yards; 26 yards were lost on sacks, so the Jets total yards passing is 45 yards

Yeah, without a doubt. Somebody jumps into that thread and doesn't look at the posts preceding it would wonder what was going on. Without my quoting of myself, I would have expected a "What the heck you talking about?" Some people don't look before they respond. Happens from time to time here.

Edit- It is also funny to me that I posted that information and the first response is for someone to take some sort of shot at me.
