I'm wondering why Burris was retained. He may be the odd man out if they pick up a cut from somewhere else. Only 6 on the DL seems short unless they are strictly doing 3-4 thru the entire game.
I'm not shocked or anything and I understand the special teams angle but I'm still kind of sad Chad Hansen didn't make it. I thought/hoped they would be able to shoe-horn him onto the team somehow. I feel like he's the kind of guy that if he finds the right spot can develop into an asset for somebody.
Especially since the Mets have been one of the top, if not the top HR hitting team the last few years. LOL
Tells you how little the Jets now think of Hansen, how far down hes fallen in the eyes of the CS. Jets might be without how many WRs? Kearse may not be back. Stewart is suspended. Anderson still might lose a game. Pryor is coming off of a injury riddled season. Q missed last season. Even as a warm body Hansen, everyones new fav and possible break out star, couldnt make the team even for the short term
And the Jets made no claims themselves. Odd! Hansen to the Pats was a guarantee though. Just like him making a few key plays for them this year is a guarantee. Probably against the Jets too.
We joke but the guy is terrible. If it happens it will be something like a 42 yard play on a Buster Skrine PI.
If Hensen becomes a player on the Pats then it will be confirmed that nobody in the entire organization of the Jets can develop anyone, and is the reason why we have struggled so much in the past. every draft ! if any player needs any type of development the Jets are dead last in that category so time will tell ...
The list of of Jets this guy has picked up off our scrap heap is long. Everytime we hear how he'll develop them. Waiting for anyone other than Whitehead
You can be sure if we pick up a few waver wire players that FB & S will be first to go. I expect them to sign a OLB soon.
A player I wanted to see the Jets draft was Dylan Cantrell. He was picked by Chargers and was having a very good camp until he hurt his knee. Was "surprise of camp" . I don't know how bad the injury is but I read they cut him to slide him through to PS. I don't the PS rules but can he sign anywhere? Can they sign him and then IR him?
Championship! Having a hard time understanding that w all the names that were cut league wide and how shallow the 53 looks how we didnt make a single waiver claim. We’re really going into this season w THIS pass rush?? This is like early 2000’s Army level bad..
