Is this supposed to be the heavy wet stuff or the light fluffy stuff here in Bergen County NJ? Either way I have to go to the gas station and get gas for the snow blower. From a weather standpoint mid April cant get here fast enough.

forecast still tricky,,there will be some heavy bands,,,,,looks like NYC on especially east could see 3 to 6 maybe 4-8,,,,I think we are still around 2-4 range maybe more again the storm track is not set in stone and there are a lot of things/ dynamics in play that the novice does not fully understand,,,lol
C MAN I think you are in the game with 1 to 3 but what do I know,,,,,,throw a kid a few bucks and let him shovel thats if you can find a kid with a shovel now a days
someone pick up the white phone

    Do kids still do that?
Latest gfs back east a bit. Reduces the numbers west of 95. New trend or a little bit of correcting itself? Not sure but there is some bust potential here north and west. Too much of a positive tilt in the trough(thanks Bernie Rayno) means the precious stays east. Let’s see what the euro says

Fjay,,,I see these damn trends ? A little East,,,,,lets see what Euro says but I watch Bernie as well and we need this thing to tilt more neutral again not positive and we need it to get its act together a little farther South ,,,,,

Euro gfs in complete agreement? Positive tilt, still snow but could have been better. I think the snow map I posted earlier is going to be close to right. Long Island ,jersey shore maybe catch a good band in there.

I have a lot to do this Saturday. I don't mind if we sit this one out. I hope it tilts further east and stays away from Morris County, NJ.

    thanks cman!! fjf!!
Hope so to..making several more trips up north this year...so maybe i can catch one.

Was just texting with CBG...trends...model trends...north...or west..then south...east...then back north at the end of model runs for this storm...trend? Keep an eye out for this when a storm shows a hit far out..then loses..and comes back.

This just being a few lows riding a stationary front...is this the path for the winter? I like to see this path before Christmas because it could be a very active pattern for I95

4-8" totals I'm being told. Not even an inch on top of my car and it's not sticking to the road or grass. Gonna have to be whiteout conditions to get that much at this point.

Greenday ,to me It appears that the temps did not drop as they were advertised to do overnight and that they might not be as low as what models thought. That said there is still a ways to go with this . Did the models get the dynamics right ? we will find out soon enough but I believe the "Jays" would both say its "now cast" time and just look out our windows. I am still in bed and not sure if anything is doing outside ,I will walk the dog soon.
