FJF-----3 or 4 ? Geez I would settle for 1 humongous one, you know like an 18 inch or 2 footer. This winter got off to a bad start and never turned it around . Its as bad as last year maybe worse because I'm a big believer in cycles and I figured no snow last year , this year we turn it around. I wanted snow since Thanksgiving and now its Valentines day and I really am almost done hoping for snow and am almost ready to say bring on baseball and summer. Brook heres what I like or wish for, the old days when it snowed every4 days and winter meant snow on the ground for weeks not just an event here and there where 2 days later its all melted and gone--we still have some time FJAY but its running out fast----rant over
Looked at the forecast for Fair Lawn NJ(Bergen County) and next week they had temps hitting around 50. No mention about snow anytime soon. With that said I will still wait until the first week of April before running the gas out of the snow blower and dumping the rest in the car.
Greg for what its worth it might hit mid 50s or even 60 next weekend but the long range models suggest the last week of Feb and 2 weeks afterwards could be cold ----again for what that is worth
That is exactly why I wait until the first week of April before putting the snow blower away for the season. March is another month that we could get hit. Still way to early to say winter is over.
Bite me,,yes the phasing is indeed happening quicker but not fast enough,,we need an act of god for this to happen,,damn even bernie rayno says we are very close he said 12 hours sooner and it would be a big snowstorm,
yea, it hung up on the west coast just long enough for the trough to get in front of it. it was modeled 5 days ago as a freakin monster storm.
Hate to say this boyz, but it is indeed, the Ariens Curse this winter. Brook should have bought his in the fall... 2018 at the earliest for real snow again.

Was reading an article on long term 15 to 30 days out and it seems that March may be filled with blocking and several dumps of cold air from Canada. These are the winters when the late one(s) sometimes come out of nowhere and they are big ones...so keep an eye out late feb early march. Wish I could take the pup for a walk around the neighborhood but I just got her back from the vet after shots 2 and 3 for heartworm. No exercise for her.
little cooler today, temps will climb though and could set records thursday. long term next 15 days will be well above freezing. think i may run the gas out of the blower
OK so Friday / Saturday looks like its August , not temp wise but Thunderstorm wise ----> then if you believe the long range models which have been wrong all year then FJAYF do not take the gas out of the blower as they say Snowstorm for Sunday into Monday ! You cant make this crap up !
