Chargers just took the WR we needed. Goodnight the Jets ruined my night. I hope it thunderstorms the next two days in Philly.

But not what they needed at this time. Three QB went in the first round and the Jets got not one of them. One was out of their reach but 2 were there for the taking. How is Jamal Adams gonna help the Jets next year?

Adams is only one piece to the puzzle. He makes an immediate improvement to the secondary. That's how he helps the secondary this year and next. He should have a very productive career. The Jets are not competing this year and neither of the QBs passed on would have changed that. The only possible way Watson or Mahomes would have helped the Jets next year is is some team would have traded up to 6 for them, giving us more picks.

With Gilchrist probably on IR to start the season, the only thing you'll see is the option not getting picked up on Pryor for the fifth year.

Allen has shoulder problems but has been described by a couple people as the best player in the draft.

I had him going third overall to the Bears.

When Trubisky busts they may wish they took Allen or Adams.

Exactly, you dont reach simply because of need in the first round.

I am taking the middle ground here ...not thrilled with the pick but supposedly after Garrett the best player in the draft

He better be a Leo Williams or Mac is toast after the Lee pick last year

Did Mac try to trade down? I hope so

Offense neglected but what else is new ...bending over backwards on D to help our moron Coach

Don't worry Boozer ,,,Adams will help but wont be that big an impact and the full tank is on for 2017

2018 is all about QBs and offense or this team wont go anywhere

    jmho

I just don't see it with Adams.

He's not a free safety (never played there in college) and he's not even a big guy at under 6 feet. To me he is Calvin Pryor, but again we shall see.

Why do you always have these posts where you fly off the handle about players you have only read scouting reports on? Calling people clueless when all you do is regurgitate what others have written is funny.

It's crazy how anyone can be upset at this. Only some jets fans think this and was a bad pick. It's the same thing that happened with Leo. Arguably the best player in the draft drops to you at 6, you take him. Especially when we have a huge need at safety. Adams is a plug in and play guy that will be a top 5 safety in the league for a decade.

People expected to fill all our needs with one pick lol. There's an entire draft to select other positions. Corner should be looked at within the first 3 rounds. I'm hoping cooks drops to 38. He would have been a good option at 6 so to get home at 38 would be awesome.

I know some of the media "experts" had him listed as such, but I wholeheartedly disagree, as many NFL teams obviously did. He is a 2-down player, with major shoulder injury issues, and is a little light in the pants. I think he was overrated because he played at Alabama.
