As a 6th overal pick he did the bare minimum to stay in fans good graces, really expected so much more

So I guess the fact we passed on 2 potential FQBs in now justified. Whew I was getting worried for a second there.

I'm so happy for Adams. That beast is a keeper! Shoulda gone number 1 overall. Keep finding those kind of difference makers Mac!

Yeah Trubisky should have been on here too because he was the #2 pick.

Just think...the Jets could have had Adams, and then traded down in the 2nd and had their choice of Kamara and Pocic, and then had Elflein or Feeney with their pick in the 3rd round if they hadn't traded down with the Vikings. They still could have had Hunt even after trading down with the Vikings.

really? becuase nobody in the top 5 made it

garret, trubisky, thomas, fourneete, davis. On top of that the rest of the top 10 idn't make it either. Adams was the only top 10 pick to make the team

Garrett is there, but I agree with those saying that Maye probably deserved the recognition more. I'm still happy with Adams though, he did what he was asked to well in the main. Not many rookies can handle three different positions.

I have nothing against Adams, but I also wouldn't say I'm a huge fan yet. Same with Maye. Both could be above average players, for sure.

But it hurts thinking they could have gotten Mahomes/Watson and Kamara. Would give the Jets free reign this year to take the best LT, or even the edge player they've needed for a while.

    An offense of:

    Mahomes/Watson
    Kamara/Powell/Mcguire
    Enunwa/Anderson/Kearse
    ASJ/Legget/Tomlinson

Is definitely something I could hitch my wagon to.

I thought Maye had an all around better season than Adams but I think both of them will be the anchor of this defense for a long time.

i missed garret. still being only 1 of 2 players drafted in the top 10 is quite an accomplishment. I don't argue maye is deserving, but adams did a lot more for us as a hybrid player then maye who was really only asked to do one thing most of the season. I think adams is more deserving.
