Hah, It was a giant conspiracy to trick Rex Ryan into shifting his number CB 1 to a no name scrub WR? Give Ryan a LITTLE credit.
Is there something in the water down there? Mike Thomas was just on Sirius XM Blitz and said that the Jags beat themselves, and had they not turned the ball over, the result would have been completely different. 32-3, but clearly they had a great shot at winning. Only after going on and on about how the Jags screwed up their chances did he say "I mean, you've got to give some credit to the Jets", but the Jags completely killed themselves. It's obviously not important now, but it's still absolutely hilarious.
I'm still trying to figure out how they beat Tennessee. I guess Tennessee beat themselves. /Mike Thomas logic
The Jags are clearing house. I wouldn't mind picking him up; he's actually not that bad. He has good timed speed though it hasn't translated to a NFL field up to now.
Revis isn't over-hyped. Cornerbacks are over-hyped. Revis is the best CB in the business and probably by quite a margin. All of that said, if the Jets don't get pressure or Revis doesn't play his usual intimidating bump-and-run game, for whatever reason, he can be beat because the CB is the last link in the play and if everything before that has gone wrong it's a completion on most of them and a coin-flip on Revis.
