I would tell Pryor Florham Park is closed today and have Hurns come in for a visit instead ;) .

Or just sign both of them. Pryor on a prove it deal, Hurns on a 3 year deal that is essentially a 2 year deal because he needs to prove he can stay healthy.

    Could do that too.

    Enunwa
    Robby
    Kearse
    Hurns
    Pryor

Stewart and Hansen get the boot or do you still carry them?

Hurns, Enunwa, Kearse and Anderson sounds unbelievable to me.

Of course you still carry them. It's been one year and this group is filled with question marks and potential

It would be tough to keep both but I also don't think they are all that great. I like Hansen as a fourth guy and Stewart as a possession guy but Hurns is better than both and the upside on Pryor is higher.

All this being said, I have a hard time believing we'll sign both so it's probably not an issue.

Too soon to release them, Q moves to H back where he thrived.
    Anderson ? (Could be traded)
    Kearse
    Pryor
    Hurns
    Stewart
    Peake/ Hansen

I would def not let go of Anderson. If he gets his head right he can be a Top 20 guy in this league.

That's a very big if. I'd swap him for Hurns and a draft pick and I have been one of his few defenders.

But Hurns is a free agent so we can sign him and not have to swap anything to get him. Why not have both and give Anderson one year to get his shit together?

If he had a better QB he would already have had multiple 1000 yard seasons along with double digit TDs.

He's the one guy the Jets have to keep and make an effort to straighten out. He's the Jets number one, no question about it.

Give him Rosen and he will open up things for Jets other receivers.

I agree with him being a huge piece. Anderson and Enunwa are the future at the position for this team. Replace Rosen with Mayfield and you got yourself a deal.

I agree... Anderson was a McCown injury away from having a 1,000 yard season and Kearse was close behind. Petty starting the last handful of games really ended any and all shot at that. I'd give Anderson one more strike and then move on... but that's also assuming we'd have Pryor and Hurns which I don't think is going to happen.

I love the idea of snagging both. Agreed there are too many questions with our current group. That said it's been pretty quiet on the FA front recently, can't see getting both.

Ocho is doing everything he can to mentor this kid and help him. Anderson is in desperate need of this. I never liked Ocho but I admire him for this and like what he has become

Not saying we have to swap anything for Hurns. His addition would allow the Jets to trade Anderson and potentially add a draft pick. Filling another hole while removing a potential headache.
Let's be honest, if Andersen was not on a very cheap contract, he would not be on the roster.

Why don't we just sign him to a 1-year deal? No risk on either side. Let's go Mac, get it done.
