Unless petty absolutely lights it up for at least 6 games mac has to find a qb,even then it would be a risk going all in on pettt. Mac and Bowles know what they have and there is no one on the roster keeping them from exploring every option available at qb next spring.
its a short week. you don't want to start a new QB when you got such a short time frame. after the loss to buffalo though is a different story. a week and a half before a QB-friendly matchup in Tampa. Great time to work in a young QB
