I mean we gave up a few picks here in the draft coming up and we are gambling on a potential franchise QB.

If we get it wrong, it could set us back potentially another 5-7 years and if we get it right. It may be the boldest and best move the franchise done in years.

We dont have a very good history when it comes to trades, I hope for once this works in our favor!

It won't set us back..our 2nd round picks mostly sucked in recent tears anyway.

if the jets take a qb it will be the highest they have taken a qb since taking namath at 1 in 1964 so yeah this will be considered important.

yup... because we gave up so much. Eggs, Basket.

Just hearing Chris Ballard describing what they got makes me fukin cringe as a JETS fan.

    That said,
We tried the other way and we haven't won shit.
Got to 2 AFCC Games with Sanchize and Playoffs with Pennington.

Yes. Potentially the most. And best. If the QB turns out to be a BUST, I don't think it will be 5-7 years lost, but definitely 3. On the other hand: He could turn the franchise into a contender for the next decade. Worth the risk.

Definitely one of the most important trades. Though as much as I hate to say it, the most important trade was Belichick to the Patriots.

Jets fans are the biggest whine ads fan base going, birch cause we moved up, they would be bitched if they didn't, FQB come at a step price, as the Eagles and Rams paid well, can't wait for draft day, because whomever we draft, they'll be a 10 threads bitching we didn't draft another.

We've been irrelevant for 7 years. If this flops, its possible we dont see the playoffs for over a decade. I know we've had bad stretchs in our history, but this could become one of the worst if we don't find out franchise QB in the draft.

I can only remember this team moving up and creating excitement twice around a draft, the first one was when Rozelle announced we have a trade and The New York Jets take Johnny Lam Jones, the draft room went nuts everyone was so pleased, what a nightmare he turned out to be.
The next one was Sanchez, two AFC championship games not overwhelming play but looked like progress was being made, Dumb ass Tannenbaum probably advised by bigger Dumb Ass Rex decides to get rid of his receivers replace them with a Edsel from the Ravens and he goes downhill fast.
During the downhill slide Rex decides to take defense no.1 non stop total train wreck. They have have another strike at it strike at it, hopefully they won’t screw it up.

It's the Jets. They almost certainly will. :D

In all seriousness, I hope they get it right this time. Having to endure drafting a bust of a QB that we traded up for on the back of a seven-season playoff drought would be devastating for the franchise.

It's feast or famine. If this works, Mac catapults himself into the upper tier of GM's and the Jets have an excellent QB to build an offense around.

If it's famine? This is viewed as another John Idzik 2014 disaster and Mac gets fired.

Either way this becomes some form of closure for Jets fans.

Is this like when the Chinese mowed people down with tanks in Tienanmen Square and President Clinton rewarded China with free trade status? I'm so confused!

The upside is, if this flops we'll be rid of an incompetent GM and most likely the HC as well. Chris Johnson would be forced to clean house. If this works, all sins forgiven.
