Paranoia is running rampant in America today and morons just buy right into it. Suspended from school for 3 days for what exactly? If I'm the kid I'm suing the school.

I knew a kid who was suspended from school for 5 school days for bringing a bread knife to school, with peanut butter and crackers... He was in the 6th grade. It was the first time he'd had any disciplinary problems in the school system.

The stated reason was that all knives of any type are prohibited from campus and anybody who brings one on gets the 5 days. This is obviously just a front for their bigger fear that kids might start bringing cheese graters and eggbeaters if they don't draw the line somewhere. Advanced Culinary Combat is an ever present danger in post 9/11 American society.

All acts of "terrorism" are judged by religious affiliation and ethnicity. Never-mind the person's motives or character. That doesn't matter apparently.

The kid I knew who was suspended was a white, red-haired, middle-schooler of uncertain religious affiliation. He had 2 brothers and a sister who had already been through that school without incident. His suspension was just central administration run amuck.

The school system's job is to educate kids, not send them home randomly for a week to mull over how stupid the school system (and by extension society) is.

They will visit their distant cousin AbdulBarack Husein. Not bad for them.

Kidding aside, I would not in a million years would believe a black guy named Hussein would be a US President. Still can't believe it.

A little shocking, but still stupid nonetheless. Paranoia indeed.

Ask me last year and I would say not in a million years there would be a chance for Donald Trump to be the US President.

That guy is the leading Republican candidate right now by a mile.
