    Says there is a MAJOR press conference at Hofstra today.

    Tannenbaum did say he would be more available to the media than the Bradway was...probably just an overall update.

    It'd be pretty wild if it turned out to be something as decisive as an Abraham trade.

    The reason I say this, I wouldn't put it past our new FO/Coaching combination to have their ducks lined up ahead of time regarding Abe. In other words, negotiate with another team and get the deal set first, then Tag him one day and Bag him the next. No screwing around, just pulling the trigger.

    I don't think you can announce a trade before the start of the NFL year (March 3). The same thing happened with the Randy Moss trade last year. Everyone knew it happened, but it could not be announced right away.

    I still can't get on the Jets Website either. Been listening to the FAN since I saw this thread and they haven't mentioned anything about a Major press conference either.

    remember, this was IRA who said this, not anyone of the FAN. They themselves are probably trying to confirm it before THEY announce it.
