Who'd win the 40, have the most bench reps, have the fastest 3 cone drill, and highest Wonderlic score, etc.....? I can tell yu right now I'd get a 0 on bench reps....but I think I might run a decent 40 and have a pretty good Wonderlic.....
If the bench is 225, I think maybe 3 members could do 1 rep. Lower the wieght to say 50, and then we're talking! I could do a good cone and solid reasonable. The less math, the better!
Based on what I've seen, we have a lot of members that would love to get the Vince Young score on the Wonderlic!
OK, we'd have several weight divisions. After all, we're all different ages and strengths. I can do about 140 multiple times and I've only been doing flat benches for a few weeks now.
i run the 40 time in 4.4 no lie ( and im white) haha, and i can hardly bench 205 much less 225, i think that would kill me
I'm pretty good at the 40 yard dash.Although the 40 yards in question are a straight 90 degree drop of the edge of a building.
Most I ever benched was 215 and that was when I was working out every day......I only weighted about 173 lbs then.....now I havent been to the gym in 4 months and I am up to 187.......all between my chest and my waist.... my best 40 was in the 4.7's.....ya I'm a whte boy....
 I know that feeling, abround this time last year I had ballooned to about 220 and normally(and when I am at my best I am in the 185-195 range). My Died had died, I had a new baby and I just didn't feel like going to the Gym for months. I finally got back into it and w/in a few months I was looking good again and regained most of my strength. It's hard to get back into it but my fear was if I didn't soon i was never going to do it again so I had to.
I benched 300 1 rep max, 2.5 years ago, I was also a Firefighter with very few calls so I worked out a tone and ate supplements like Candy, now my max is about 220,I also weight about 190 pounds, so I guess i could maybe pull out one If i was lucky. 40 time is about 4.9, never a fast guy, just quick
I could put up 225 quite a few times and thats with my normal bench being just about close grip. My person best was 305 but that was in high school.
Yeah almost everyone here should be able to bench 225 pounds atleast once. I'm 16 years old and I can do 3 or 4 reps unassisted (I workout a lot). But I'd expect a full grown man to be able to do it way more....
Time to brag. I would rock the wonderlic(Ivy League grad with a PhD). At my peak a few year ago I was working out with 300lbs(3 sets of 10). Have no idea of my 40 since I haven't been timed since 9th or 10th grade. What is the point of this thread anyway?
i think the point is to find out who is a liar and who is honest.....we'll go ahead and mark you down in your appropriate category....hahah j/k...as far as i go....theres no way im benchin more than about 160 maybe four times......my 40 you could time with a sundial....wonderlic,im pretty sharp, im comin in around 40 i'd guess
Ah, but is it at a second-rate Ivy League school like Brown or Dartmouth, or a good one like Harvard, Yale, or Princeton (asks the guy with the Yale PhD)?
