And after hitting the post skated to the ref and screamed obscenities and demanded the ref signal a goal while throwing a tantrum and pounding his gloves on the ice...and the ref DID signal a goal, would that be ok? Would people accept that? So why is Tom Brady allowed to act as referee and quarterback? When he's hit cleanly within the NFL rules he is allowed to scream, curse at the referee, pound the turf, and demand a penalty...and the ref obliges how is that ok?
The NFL is heading down the NBA route into irrelevancy and I really couldn't be happier. Just like you watch the NBA today and wonder where the glory days of the 90s went it's gonna be the same with the NFL soon
Forget Brady. How about three Patriots defenders getting in the face of the referee after ASJ broke the plain and not letting him get to the pylon to signal the call. How are they not flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct there? I'm pretty sure Malcolm Butler contacted the official too. It's just overlooked?!
I'm pretty sure the Leafs are the NHL equivalent of the Jets....and sadly I'm a fan of both (though the future looks very bright for my Leafs finally.)
