Now that Gase is our new Head Coach, I wanted to see what you all view as the ideal makeover for the offense. Like him or not, we now have a coach with an offensive background, which provides a much needed change and one that comes at a perfect time with Sam Darnold. We have a ton of cap space and the #3 pick.

So let's hear it! What are your ideal moves on the offensive side of the ball?

Make Loggains grow a beard and take a new portrait.

Jets need there Albert Wilson for this offense, I don’t know if there is anyone like that in FA. Would love to find a way to get Hollywood Brown in here, although that is extremely unlikely.

Brown and Bell don't fit the mold of Gase players.

Ideal as in what I want to happen? Or ideal as in how can we make the best of a bad situation?

    What I want:
    -Sign LeVeon Bell
    -Sign OL
    -Draft OL
    -Sign WR
    -Draft WR
-Design an offense that plays to the strengths of a great rollout QB that can make plays happen

In reality, Bell isn't coming here to play for Adam Gase. That changes the entire look of the offense because you don't have that one guy that can do literally anything you ask him to do on the field. We're going to have to make the best with what we have because there's not much out there. Maybe Gase's input on the draft will help? Who knows. His personnel moves were awful in Miami so I'm not counting on it.

a problem is there aren't really any significant WR to sign

And maybe it's just me, but I'm not so excited about $100 mil in cap space bc i find most stud players are slapped with the franchise tag until the team can either clear space to extend that player, or the player is pushing 30. i will begin to examine potential FA and revisit this shortly

It looks like Antonio Brown is on his way out of Pittsburgh.

    One way or another.

It's probably going to cost draft picks and money to subsidize the 20m Pittsburgh is losing. And this still doesn't solve the cap hit Pittsburgh is going to take.

Marquise Brown doesn’t fit the mold of Gase? Why’s that? He seems like a great fit except for the fact that he’ll likely be a mid-late first rounder.

    I agree about Bell.

I think it is a long shot that he signs here now, with Gase. I think his holdout, whether right or wrong, rubbed a lot of people the wrong way, especially a coach like Gase.

Well I also think a guy as talented as him knows better than to sign with a team coached by a guy that a lot of players hated playing for. I mean he watched Gase give Frank god damn Gore the workload while a back that can run and catch in Drake took a backseat. What exactly is the draw to playing for Gase? ESPECIALLY when Bruce Arians is coaching a team that will have money to spend, an RB hole to fill and no state income tax.

This ain't Gase turning down Bell, it's Bell turning down Gase.

I'm sorry, when you referred to Hollywood Brown, I understood that to mean Antonio Brown.

A guy like Bell who just held out and lost $14million is going to go the team that ponies up the most green. $20/year gets Bell in Green and White for next year.

$15 mil a year gets him in red and white down in Tampa with a much better coach and no state income tax.

Arians is respected around the league. Gase is the opposite. You're being naive if you think players put the two of them on the same playing field.

You don’t think Gase is respected around the league? The only place Gase is not respected is throughout the Jets fan base.

John Fox,Alshon Jeffery,Tony Romo, Peyton Manning, Boomer Esiason, Cutler,Tannehill..

Exactly how many names need to come out to respect Gase before its worth acknowledging instead of feeding an agenda??

Also, a critique on Gase is that he would randomly turn away from things that were working during the game for the sake of keeping the other team off balance.

He also inexplicably ceased using Kenyan Drake the last portion of the season.

How would Bell handle that? Nope.
