There's been a couple pieces (like this one) stating that (somehow), Rosen will be there at 6 for the Jets -- which sounds like an ideal offseason move.

Does anyone think that will actually happen? If so, Rosen is definitely worth the pick, correct?

You write that fuckers name down and take it to the podium, no questions asked. It's possible. Reports are, Alex Smith is going to CLE and the Browns will take a QB at 1. Doesn't sound like Rosen, who is one of the more pro ready QBs in this class.

I think there's a chance he could be there at 6. The reasons why he could be there are his attitude, his concussion and injury history, his thin frame, and his tendency when behind to just start throwing the ball up for grabs. Personally, I'm not sure he is worth the pick. He could be, and could be a great NFL QB, or could sustain a couple of concussions his first couple of years and retire, or could stay on the injured list more than he plays. My thoughts on him could definitely change, but at the moment, I don't want him at all.

The gods would be smiling on the Jets for the first time since Joe Willie. Whatever concerns anyone might have are well worth the risk if you've seen him play. There is Rosen and there is everyone else.

So it sounds like this isn't a far-fetched idea. From perusing the draft section, it also sounds like Rosen isn't a lock. But, with the sixth overall, picking him sounds a a lot better than picking Sanchez. Sign me up.

I'm weary of his durability in the NFL. But if he's there at 6 and Darnold, Mayfield, and Barkley are off the board, you have to take him. I hope that Darnold, Rosen, and Mayfield are available at 3 so that we can have our choice at QB if Mac trades up 3 spots. Might be wishful thinking. :)

Jets have to take advantage of their cap space:

    FA: Cousins, OL, edge rusher
    Round 1: Barkley
    Round 2: OL, OL
    Round 3: best WR available
    Rounds 4 on: BAP

Stability at QB, big, tough OL, reliable targets for Cousins, generational RB.
It's an offensive minded league, way overdue to address that side of it.

    No particular order of preference:

New QB, one of Kirk, Rosen, Mayfield or Foles (last resort)
RB: McKinnon (Vikings) or if they were lucky to draft Barkley
WR: Landry, Allen Robinson or BPA WR via draft

Unless we're trading up for Barkley, no way he lasts to 6.
