So your saying it's impossible for a player to improve what so ever in a few years without steroid use. So it's safe to say A-rod is on roids just because he hit 50+ HRs.
Cliff Flord: 19996-6 homers 2001-31 homers Granted he played in 30 more games but I doubt he hits 25 homers in those games:beer:
The difference is, once ARod became an everyday player his HR production has been consistant. Whereas Ortiz* had a major jump in a small amount of time.
There is nothing noticeable in the career minor and major league stats of Ortiz, Rodriguez, or Floyd that would suggest, "Wow, this guy sure did all of a sudden start hitting home runs around this time." Those guys hit HRs in the minors, too.
The thing is, until a credible source throws out names outside of Bonds, Sheff and Giambi you really cant believe anything.
Nomar and brian giles are on the roids. Nomar because of all the injuries.. Yes after using HGH for a long time your muscles get to big and begin tearing. That explains all the injuries. Brian Giles because my brother knows a teamate of his and they were talking about it one night.
Major jump:rofl:   Ortiz year by year 2000 130 games 10 HR 2001 89 games 18 HR 2002 125 games 20 HR 2003 128 games 31 HR - first year in Boston w/Manny 2004 150 games 41 HR 2005 159 games 47 HR Oh I'm sorry but where is this jump you speak of. Unless you count being in a better line-up a result of steroids there is nothing there but progression not every superstar is great from their rookie year on.
Who defines performance enhancing drug? So if a player drinks 3 energy drinks before a game and goes out and hits 3 hrs hes juiced?
Tell me you are not that stupid. These are drugs that are ILLEAGAL in the US...unless prescribed by a physician.
If the substance is designed to make the player bigger, I have a problem with it. If the player does crack or smack or drinks a six-pack with every meal, I have no problem with it.
