Let me tweak my initial statement for accuracy. So Kennedy made a foundation with the purpose of supplying the poor with heating oil (fine), and the majority of his supply as well as funding for advertising, was supplied by Citgo -- presumably as a PR stunt to try and clean up their image. Kennedy's motive is great, heat the poor's homes, but he's accepting handouts from a self-pronounced enemy of the United States. Maybe if Exxon or Chevron would be a bit more American or congress a little bit less usless then maybe he wouldn't need to take oil from Citgo to keep the program running.
