i'd like to hear the audio after his TD run... his reaction in the endzone was great even without hearing him. looked like he had Marshall genuinely laughing. he's winning over the team (and me)!
That was great to watch. Love seeing the reactions on the field from other players & coaches when amazing plays happen.
#30 Zac Stacy. Does he run into Fitz during the throw or does Fitz trip over him with his throwing motion? To me it looks like he's backing up and prepping himself to block an incoming Redskin then accidentally hits him during the throwing motion.
Really explains the under throw now. Fitz likely felt the space around him was enough to attempt downfield pass. Obviously, he didn't anticipate his own RB hitting him mid-release. Marshall bailed out both Fitz & Stacy.
When the pass happened it seemed like it was also intentionally under thrown. Obviously he never wanted it that much under thrown, but the way the coverage was the under throw where the WR has to stop and the DB flys by made sense.
he looked freaking nuts and I loved every moment of it. I really enjoy watching Fitz play for the Jets. Been a while since I've said that about a QB.
I wish we had the mic'd up stuff for every game. It was awesome having it week 1. I haven't heard of anything since.
I have to admit Fitz is starting to win me over also. Just one thing. I just wish he would stop with the at least one int a game.
When you look at him just remember that the beard is a safety measure. You can't wear concussion pads on your jawline under your helmet but you can grow a great big beard and not violate equipment rules. That thing is amazing protection against blows to the jaw.
I think he's got a switchblade tucked up in there somewhere when things go south. I heard he has a cameo as crazy eye's dad in season 3 of Orange is the New Black.
