    hey, i'm a bears fan and i registered here to find out something, so anyone that knows his jets, please answer ths question:

    i remember Herman Edwards say about a week after the season, that he wasn't going anywhere, why did Herm leave here for Kansas City and, as a Jets fan, how do you feel about what he did?

    He had intentions of leaving the entire time but wanted to avoid the risk of tampering charges. He has been filling his staff and even roster with people from the Chiefs organization. I, personally, was happy to see him leave.

    not sure why he left ..(maybe he saw we were heading for rebuilding) but as far as i felt herm had lost this team his tenture was over. and it made me very happy to see him leave

    i love the NFL, i was just wondering

    i was watching the combine on NFL Network and they had the commercial where he is driving a jet... and his shirt is red with the chiefs logo on it, but before, it was green and it made me think: "why would he leave when he has been head coach in NY for 5 years?"

    just wondering...

    It's more than one reason, he wanted a contract extention and wasn't getting one, so he was unhappy about that. Also the Chiefs are a time on the rise and we pretty much suck.

    The whole season there was rumors about him and KC. Then at the end of the season he backstabbed us by sayin he wanted to say and he fleed off.

    A lot of people around here were angry because we only got a 4th for him... which is funny because those were mostly the people who thought Herm was a terrible coach.

    Here I was thinking that he was misinformed, so I tried convincing him he was mistaken. He just didn't want to be informed; I think he just likes being ridiculous.

    i am very "famous" on the chicago bears MB... lol i have a great illustrious history there (only been there under 2 years too)

    well from what you guys have said, i think i got it now, thanks guys (BTW curtis martin is one of my favorite non-bear players, i think the reasons are obvious)

    BTW i know our teams play next year sometime because NFCN plays the AFCE teams next year :D maybe i'll see you then

    Jetsrock16 will take any opportunity to show man-love for Vinny, even if the opportunity doesn't actually present itself.

    Hey raise_up_va, any QB you fielded last year performed better than all the ones we fielded combined :wink:
