I'm allowed four keepers out of this group. The number after their name indicates what round pick I need to give up to keep them. I can keep two or more guys from the same round, it would just escalate a round. Please look at this list and let me know what you think which four keepers are either must keeps, or represent the best value at their draft spot! Jon Lester - 4th Bryce Harper - 8th Freddie Freeman - 9th Jason Kipnis - 10th Ricky Romero - 11th Curtis Granderson - 12th Stephen Strasburg - 12th Paul Goldschmidt - 13th Chad Billingsley - 17th Pedro Alvarez - 17th Ryan Doumit - 17th Alexei Ramirez - 17th Josh Reddick - 17th Carlos Ruiz - 17th Neil Walker - 17th Jonathon Broxton - 17th Chris Capuano - 17th Ernesto Frieri - 17th Justin Masterson - 17th Edinson Volzquez - 17th Chase Utley - 18th Aroldis Chapman - 19th Michael Morse - 20th
I would go Harper Kipnis Strasburg and probably Freeman But I could see you going in alot of ways with the 4th guy
Right now my thinking is Harper and Strasburg are absolute locks. I see Chapman as a very strong third since I get to use such a late pick on him and he's going to potentially be dominant... top 100 at worst which still isn't bad considering I'd get him with a late pick. I agree that the 4th is so tough. I've gotten recommendations for Kipnis, Granderson (don't like due to injury), Goldschmidt, Utley, and now Freeman. Kipnis seems like the strongest bet due to his age but still, choices!
