But the real question is "are his unnamed sources the same unnamed sources used by the csbw's?"

I didn't realize Bowles was the interim in Miami when they shit canned Sparano. 3 games of HC experience

only one man has won w/ Peyton and that postseason was spoon fed to them w/ incredible matchups for Indy as their D carried them to a SB title.

I hope they let him leave. McDermott would be a better fit IMO. Bowles has made a name on his defensive prowess, but needs to blitz and relies on the CB. Sound familiar?

We have a GM now that hopefully won't stubbornly think his slapdick group of corners are good.

Either way- you hire a HC based on the long term not the short term. How Idzik stupidly left the CBs right NOW shouldn't even be something thought about at all in the hiring process.

Bowles' D would do fine in the long and short term. anyway. I'd wanna hear his plan for assembling a staff, how he will interact with both sides of the ball, his philosophies on game and risk management, how much he values the QB position, etc....

I hope it's Maccagnan who wants Bowles..Would make me feel alot better about the pairing. This better happen today don't let the man leave NY without a signed contract.

I would hope this is true. Bowles and Shanahan is a very very good balance of offense and defense. Shanahan's offense fits our personnel like a glove too... as long as Amaro remembers how to catch.

No disagreement from me. As I stated on my previous thread, I feel strongly Woody's aim is clearly to get Quinn, but short of a hand shake commitment from Quinn, which I doubt, we run a huge risk of loosing him to the competition and the back ups gone as well.

Can you elaborate on how Shanahan fits our personnel like a glove?

so a QB who has only won with one coach, on a team carried by Defense (and special teams)......
    sounds like Brady to me.

Take Garcon, Morris Reed's roles in his offense and apply them to Harvin, Amaro and Ivory.

except it doesn't. Brady's coach never even made a title game w/o him let alone reach or win a SB. he was on the verge of being fired before Brady rescued him. Manning's HC's all had success w/o him.
