Where are all the pictures of crying Patriots fans from last night that were requested? Losing blows... but hard to be too worked up after our 8th SB game in 17 years. You guys..... wouldn't understand. Give Foles/Pederson credit. They played/called an aggressive game and won it. Props to Philly. Literally zero tears here. Even my 12-year-old son said afterwards "win some, lose some... we've won our fair share".

I personally (and I can only speak for myself) have a really hard time getting too bummed out after the last 17 years and what this franchise has given us in terms of complete joy. I actually miss getting so emotionally invested, but it does change after so much winning. Same for Sox after '04/'07/'11.

Brady* has lost to Eli twice and now Foles in the Super Bowl. Seattle and Atlanta both handed the Patriots titles too. What an odd, overrated, cheating, "dynasty" this team is. Funny, Pats fans complaining they didn't get calls last night and lost. Pretty much confirming they are used to getting calls leading to winning. Great thread!

It's not just to throw water on the meme party - it's actually true. Patriots fans didn't want to lose - but if you're looking for the deep despair felt like after the '03 Sox lost... or even after Tyree's catch... you just don't understand. You can't. Hat tip to Foles. Great story and he played his balls off. Can't believe Blount impacted the game, but he did. Hat tip to him, too. BB and Patricia were out-coached. Doesn't happen often but the Philly staff got it done. Brady still seems like a viable (league MVP and 500+ yd passing game in SB) QB and as long as everyone doesn't retire he should have plenty of weapons. Hopefully Schiano can put together a more impactful defense and is luckier with injuries. Never know for sure what each season brings, but Pats should be in the mix for the SB, again, next year.
