    Matt, that one was a gem. That ad btw prompted some boycott heat from Italian-American anti-defamation circles. Alka-Seltzer eventually pulled it and went back to the safer 'Speedy' character singing: "plop, plop, fizz, fizz, oh what a relief it is."

    George Carlin used to talk about this one (subliminal messages in advertising). This jingle's hook would've been perfect for (in)famous Jameis:

    Anyone who used to watch cartoons on WPIX in the 80's has to know this one.... it played non stop.



    Dam 43 bucks a night, I actually stayed at this shithole before.

    Why did they air this so may times during Tom and Jerry? Not once did I say "MOM! DAD! We gotta stay at the Milford Plaza!!!!!"
