    no penalties
    Nice discipline
    Great game plan
    Ballsey 4th down call
All those 1st quarter points shows me coaching is solid

But we got a clown who is thrilled with 4 or 5 wins

I'm sure picking that high each year for god knows how long and getting guys like Fowler, Ramsey, Fournette and even Bortles high hasn't hurt St. Doug.

Difference between the Jets and Jags is they know how to make a 2nd round pick count. Allen Robinson who is hurt, Marquise Lee, Cam Robinson, Myles Jack, TJ Yeldon have contributed big time. What was the last 2nd round pick to carry their own weight on this team besides Maye this year? Certainly not Ducasse, Amaro, Devin Smith or Hackenburg.

This is why I want to keep our 2nd round picks this year and (hopefully) make 'em count. Just because the Jets effed up 6 out of the last 7 or whatever doesn't mean that has to continue. We're due for a few bullseyes this year.

Manish Metha is the reason we didn't land Marone. He put out a series of articles that scared Woody from signing him according to sources.

Which makes it 100% Woody's fault, not Mehta's. Any owner who is intimidated by an asshole beat writer deserves what he gets. Unfortunately, it's the Jets fans who are getting what they don't deserve - incompetence at every level of the organization.

Well to be fair Jets fans were very against bringing in Marone they called it Kotite 2.0 because of how excited Woody was when he resigned as coach of the Bills.

This game is NOT over. Marrone could be the idiot who blew a 28-7 lead when this is all said and done

Mehta gave Marrone the shaft when Marrrone thought he had the Jet Job locked up, Michael Kay talks about it all the time.
Tomlin took the 4th down 6 inches to go play right out of the Jets playbook throw the ball 4 yards backwards and the back gets tackled for a 3 yard loss.
The fullback(Bohannon) not looking bad at all lead blocking for Fournette, hopefully if Bowles is watching he might be learning something but I highly doubt it.

I remember that quite well. A lot of those same fans thought Hack was a franchise QB.

Just about every HC in the NFL is better than toilet besides maybe Cleveland? Toilet is completely outmatched when it comes to strategic in game adjustments. How many times do Jets fans need to witness it themselves untiluntil they realize what everyone else already knows?

Gotta stop looking at the past. None of us wanted Marrone when he was available.

It is not our job to make the right call. We are fans. It is their job to get it right or be fired

Count me as one that didn't want Marrone when he bolted from the Bills and it looked like it was a done deal for the NYJ. In hindsight though, not sure he'd be this successful under the intense spotlight of coaching the Jets as opposed to the wasteland that was Jacksonville football. I am sure having Coughlin on board isn't a bad thing either...

Well in that case I'm more upset westhoff is helping the saints get their special teams together instead of being here where he belongs. There were red flags with marrone and he probably would have been run out of NY cause Coughlin wasn't coming to save him if he was with the Jets

Lol, we can thank Manish for running a smear campaign on Marrone when Woody was set to hire him.

Doug Marrone is a good coach. The NY media especially Metha owes him an apology. They also should applaud Bortels who they were trying to fire and replace with Eli. Additionally coaching had nothing to do with the end of the Viking game unless it was those last 5 sec. adjustments. Players win and lose games. Don't give coaches too much credit or blame.
