If signed he would be the 3rd jet they signed (geno and marshall) this offseason and 4th jet in the last 2 years (harrison)

If they get him it's a great pick up for their o-line. good luck to mangold, you deserved better then we gave you

I hope they do sign Mangold. That opportunity would be his best chance at a ring or even the playoffs for that matter. I can't think of a more deserving Jet than Nicky!

Yeah it would be good to see nick win a ring even if it's on the Giants. On paper they look like they can make some noise if they figure there offense out

I wish Mangold the best. I personally think he has, at least, a few more years left as a starter. He's held up considerably well for a center, though he gave us a few scares over the years. Whenever Mangold went down, you knew the offense was going to suffer. That all changed with Johnson stepping up.

I dislike Giants. I dislike them big time. But I like Mangold way more than I dislike Giants. If that means Mangold will stay in New York and won't uproot his family, I am all for it.

More than worth it just to see him pounding away at Ranger's games.

Mangold was an excellent draft pick and very good pro for the Jets. The thing that bothered me the most about him was his lack of fire. He always had the same laid back demeanor no matter what happened on the field. Despite his all-pro status, I question whether he was a real leader of this team. I would still take Mawae over him any day.

Revis to Mangold: "Yo I need yo truck tomorrow".
    Mangold: "What for???"
Revis: "Have you SEEN $17 Million dollars??? I gotta move it".
    Mangold: "Yo."

That high ankle sprain in '11 and what he endured to get back onto the field for the team told me everything I needed to know about him.

Dude is as tough a mf as anybody

He was without question a leader on the '09, '10 teams too. But he was always a leader. Especially on the field.

How anything could bother you about him is beyond me. C'mon man.....
