Big risk off such a horrible injury, good player that isn't in question for me, but can you imagine if Mac signed him up to 20m and then in week 3 he snaps, you might as well retire off this board for a month or six lol

    Look into:
    Luke Joeckel - G
    Greg Robinson - LT
    Le'Veon Bell - RB
    Kirk Cousins - QB
    Ezekiel Ansah - DE
    DeMarcus Lawrence - DE
    Dontari Poe - DT

Maybe get lucky and sign 1 or 2.

The injury is why I think it will be in the 20 Million dollar range not more. Less guaranteed then some recent QB deals. Team option after year 2 type deal.
As far as the board, if he has any success on another team, it would be the same as if he were injured here.
Fire Mac, he could have signed Bridgewater vs fire Mac Bridgewater got hurt. Same difference.

I would pass on all of them. I'm sure Bowles and Macc will too and we will have McCown again.

I like the list but would remove Bell. He wants to much money and has major character issues.
    I would add
    DeMarcus Lawrence Edge
Patrick Peterson Slot CB (replace Skrine)
    Trumaine Johnson CB

I understood what he meant by cousins or mccown and a first round pick. Wasn’t that misleading really.
And maybe he meant come down, like off your high horse

Imagine coming out of the offseason with cousins and Lawrence and going o line o line cb with the 1st and 2 2nds? That’s what wet dreams are made of .
doubt Lawrence shakes free of Dallas though

    Cousins info:
    2017 salary $23,943,600
He would become an unrestricted free agent in 2018 unless given a transition tag for $28,732,320 or a third and
final franchise tag worth $34,478,784, . A transition tag would only provide the Redskins a right to match an offer
    sheet.
The third franchise tag would prevent Cousins from soliciting an offer sheet from other NFL teams.

Mos gone. We’ll eat the cap hit this year and he’ll be off the books by the 2019 season when we will probably need cap space.

We will have plenty of cap space in 2019. Even with some big free agent additions. Current projections for 2019 are just under $132 Million not counting any carry over.
Obviously we will have new contracts on the books but there will be plenty of money available.

I don't think giving Cousins 20% of our cap space will not be in the best interest of this team going forward.
Spend big bucks on every good lineman available
too much money for a guy with his career win loss record.
I'd rather pay McCown another 6 million and keep searching.

Is there any way to sign them all?
If we have to leave one out, leave Cousins out, save $30 million per year.
