But in the off chance that happens, I'd give it all up for Alex Smith.

Would be the best QB to come in since Chad.

It's only disappointing to fans who think that a QB should start from day one or he's not any good. It's a ridiculous attitude and isn't in line with reality in the NFL. Mac said from day one that he wasn't going to make the same mistake as the previous regime and rush a QB on the field before he is ready. They were never supposed to see action so it wasn't disappointing to those of us who listen to Mac and understand that some players take time to develop either because they're adjusting to a different type of offensive system or are fixing fundamentals.

I think you're dreaming if you really think Taylor could take a team to the SB.

Put him on Denver or Houston last year and they'd have had a shot.

Smith has never won without a strong supporting cast.
So you're ready to start Petty or Hackenberg next year and rebuild the team around one of them?

Well that isn't saying much because Osweiler was awful, but yeah, they'd have had a better chance of winning. A QB has got to be able to hit intermediate routes. If he can't, then he's not much good imo.

I'm for a 3-way competition in training camp if Mac thinks both Hack and Petty are ready to compete with the vet they sign. If one of them win the job, yes, I'm ready to start one of them. If for some reason the Jets don't sign a vet, and draft a QB instead, then if he thinks the rookie is capable of competing with Petty and Hack, great. If not, he can sit for a year and Petty and Hack can fight it out. If Hack is not ready, and needs some more time, fine. I'm willing to give him more time and roll with Petty or the other QB.

Petty's having to learn a very different offensive system and to read complex NFL Ds. Hack is having to change his footwork and get over the pounding at PSU. Neither is facing an easy task, and neither may develop, but it's in the Jets best interests to give them every opportunity to develop. If either do, then that's huge and they don't have to worry about finding another QB for 10 years.

That Ostrich was playing in Houston, and was benched midway through the season.

Broncos offense was run by *Gulp!* Trevor Siemian.

P.S. Putting Tyrod Taylor in Osweiler's or Siemian's spot won't improve their shot.

So they could have either kept him or cut him, Boob flips a coin and got lucky this time.

What about when he claimed Laremy Tunsil took $100K under the table while in college and was going to be suspended 6 games?
When he claimed the Penguins signed Zach Parise? When it didn't happen Boob blamed Parise's wife.
Hit and miss twice on Steve Nash? First he was going to sign with the Raptors, then with the Knicks but ended up was a sign and trade between the Suns and Lakers

Boob maybe has a 10% accuracy rate but that is only if you count his tweets that say things like 5 teams are considering supplemental selection for Josh Gordon. Sure one of the teams he listed did pick up Gordon but is it really that hard to look and see what teams were desperately in need of a receiver and guess that one of them might pick him up.

The Boob misses could fill a book, he just makes so many guesses and then praises himself non-stop when he gets lucky with one that some people are fooled into thinking he actually has some inside scoop.

In other words, Boob don't know shit.
