    nevermind

Yahoo made their league message boards shitty now. I cannot post from my phone and am not having much better luck from a PC. I may need to move my league to mlb.com or something.

Since a thread is already made pertaining FB2012 I might as well put this here:

I can keep 4 players from my [championship] team last year.

    C Victor Martinez
    1B Albert Pujols
    2B Rickie Weeks
    3B Alex Rodriguez
    SS Derek Jeter
    OF Carlos Beltran
    OF Mike Bourne
    OF Angel Pagan
    BE Aaron Hill
    BE Dexter Fowler
    BE Chipper Jones
    BE JJ Hardy
    BE Placido Polanco

    SP Cliff Lee
    SP Josh Johnson
    SP Josh Beckett
    SP Ricky Romero
    CL Mariano Rivera
    BE Jaime Garcia
    BE Ivan Nova
    BE Joe Saunders

Initially I was gonna keep Pujols, C Lee, J Johnson and Vic Martinez. Martinez's Catcher eligibility doubles his value.... obviously he's out. So who do I keep off this team? Right now I'm thinking:

    Cliff Lee
    Albert Pujols
    Josh Johnson
Ricky Romero (yup, I think he's a stud)

Discuss, and thank you in advance.

I would keep Pujols, Bourn, Lee and Johnson. I have a knack for finding pitchers so I usually like to keep batters. Bourn can help you in steals and runs and maybe average.

He's definitely getting consideration. Thanks for the input.

Looks like I will keep my keeper league at Yahoo. I may bounce two managers soon if they do not show up. I haven't heard from them since last season and they were the two weakest managers anyway. Their teams would be disbanded. The players would go back into the free agent pool. The replacement managers would get expansion teams. If interested, let me know.

What kind of format is the league (how many keepers per season, roster composition, is it roto or head-to-head, etc)? Is it a pay league or free?

Free (very competitive group that doesn't need a small pool to get excited)

    Auction draft

5 keepers this offseason with a chance for more after this season

    Head-to-head

Roto is boring but I would still play it. Problem is nobody I play with likes it.

I acquired C Carlos Santana for a sixth round pick. My keepers are now Pujols, C Lee, J Johnson, and Santana.

    My keepers for 2012-
    Eric Hosmer
    Daniel Hudson
    Logan Morrison
    Ben Zobrist
    Howie Kendrick

They only cost $24. That leaves me with $236 to spend on 18 players.

We actually have one spot open. I was going to advertise the league a little here tonight and then at other boards if I had no luck here. It is free to play- we have enough fantasy baseball diehards who do not need to play for money. If you are interested I will PM you some stuff in a few hours.

You would worry me because you are not consistently here. Of course, this message board has nothing to do with a fantasy baseball league. Can I count on you to regularly check your team?

For steves850 or anybody else interested here is some information-

Two of the 12 managers never answered the bell for this season. I have decided to replace them. There will be an expansion draft this week.

    head-to-head
    free
    5x5
$260 for 23 players (you will select your first five in the expansion draft and then the remaining 18 with everyone else during the March 25 auction)

The following players are available to be drafted in the 2012 Expansion Draft. These players carry their 2011 salaries forward to 2012 and they are subject to the same escalators as players kept by returning managers. For example, Prince Fielder's 2011 salary was $37. If selected in the Expansion Draft his salary will remain $37 for all of 2012. If kept after 2012, his salary will increase to $42 for 2013.

    $8- Emilio Bonifacio
    8- Melky Cabrera
    37- Prince Fielder
    8- Doug Fister
    16- Victor Martinez
    2- Carlos Quentin
    12- Jered Weaver
    15- Rickie Weeks
    4- Freddie Freeman
    37- Josh Hamilton
    30- Tim Lincecum
    1- Ervin Santana
    46- Troy Tulowitzki
    36- Matt Holliday
    8- Brandon League
    9- Shaun Marcum

Somebody responded to an open invitation elsewhere. I will keep you in mind as a midseason replacement should the need arise or next year in the event we have true expansion.
