we have 3 picks in the next 20 so hopefully the odds play in favor for us.

I know some ppl don't like these trade downs, however i believe this is extremely important to this team(granted the players are graded equal) for the simple reason we need to add talent to our special teams. for years now our special teams has been a disaster simply because we don't have these late rd picks because of trades for veteran players.

plus, they are cheap and can be locked up for a few years to come, if they do indeed make the team.

the comp pick was the 107 which we traded for 125 which we traded for 141......by trading the 107 and then the 125th, we ended up with an extra 5th and 6th. we didnt trade out of the 4th....141 the WR from Cal was our 4th round pick.

    we still have 2 5ths, 3 6ths, and a 7

By trading down we have now passed on
Ryan Switzer and Jake Butt, in favor of Chad Hanson and Jordan Leggett.

The Butt and Leggett comparison will define Macs legacy. I must admit IDK anything about Leggett but I just saw his NFL comp was Kellen Davis.......................................

4th round tightends don't define a general managers legacy lol. That's just silly.

I LOVE the trade downs. They have some players in mind that are further down the board. I am a Sixers fan, so I am used to trusting the process.

That comparison couldn't be more wrong. Do you know who Kellen Davis' pro companion was? A pile of old white dog shit.

Mac is really putting a lot of trust in his and his scouts skills to evaluate talent by trading down like this.

This is a really good or a really bad idea. It's ALL on Mac at this point, I believe!!!
