Listen ..Christian and Bryce are outstanding role models that don't deserve any broken bones... That said this is business and NO do not give up anything to get short term WRs WE ARE IN BIG TROUBLE (DRAFT 2018) BECAUSE OF BUFFALOS AGGRESSIVE ACCUMULATION OF FIRST ROUND PICKS .. NO FQB ? No future for us Time to be prudent with the deals and try to hold serve with anyone looking to move up the draft order next Spring JMHO
Im still upset that we let Decker go. Still one of the smoothest route runners in the game, young guys could've learned a ton from him. Even if he only led by example. I really feel he was our most valuable player. We sucked whenever he wasn't available
I agree. that was a bonehead move. Keeping Decker would not have messed with the 'tank' and only would've helped young QBs and young receivers. I haven't seen a single good reason for why it was a good idea to cut him
Yeah I do agree it was a bad move. no idea why we did it. we are loaded with cap now and decker would have been our #1 and isn't that old. he still has a good 2-3 years left and been a nice option for a young QB to trust
I agree. That one has Woody's fingerprints all over it. Since the team wasn't going to the playoffs, he wanted to dump salaries.
We had a decent receiver his name was Eric Decker...We cut him for no real reason. It wouldn't surprise me to see Mac try to trade for Decker ,he did trade for Demario Davis after not resigning him
No, it doesn't. It's a lost season. My strategy, other than slinging water balloons at The New Dump, would be to throw every practice squad scrub on the field to find a diamond in the rough. Use the practice squad. All of them. Every game. Field them all, and sit everyone else. What is so hard about this? Break the mold. Make it worth my misspent filthy lucre.
Sept 2-3 is going to be a wild day with over 1100 players being released at once. I think it's 1184 players. Waivers will be crazy. Hopefully Mac is prepared with players he wants to Target. I'm sure there will be some surprise cuts as well.
I think Hawkins Retirement may have given Carr a much better chance of making the roster in NE but if he doesn't stick, he would be a great addition
Just heard the Colts may cut Phillip Dorsett if they can't trade him. What are your thoughts on picking him up if he is released?
