Hate to say it but Browns 24 Jets 20. I don't believe the Coaching Staff will have the players ready on a short week. I see more of the shooting ourselves in the foot type of game that we had last week vs. MIA then the DET blow out game. I will say I think we'll get to see some more Parry Nickerson tonight because Buster will not look good......
I think the Jets win by a TD or more. Everyone is riding the Browns hard right now saying they are due for a win, blah blah blah.. I haven't been as impressed with either game they have played yet. +5 turnover differential and barely TIED Pittsburgh? Only 21 points vs New Orleans who got torched by Fitzmagic? If we can keep Darnold upright, run the football, and stay ahead of the chains on offense we should be able to put up the points to win. On the other side of the ball, stop the run game and make them win the game on the arm of Taylor in 3rd and long situations.
We win. It’s the jets. when everyone one thinks we will lose we always win. Same goes for when everyone thinks we will win we lose. I love being a underdog jets always come out fired up. But if we’re so post to win we come out flat and can’t catch up in 2nd half. Life as a jet fan Now JET UP
Voted no. - Our short week preparation was garbage last week. - Turned the ball over every week so far. - This team is not ready to win games they "should" win on the schedule. - Away game - Cleveland has the best defense of all the teams the Jets have seen this year.
I think it comes down to whether or not Sam makes the backbreaking mistakes. The defense should be able to contain the Browns, who have struggled against 2 bottom 5 defenses. But this past week was a good example of the Jets defense playing lights out yet still giving up 20 because the offense compromised them with plus territory turnovers. I think the same thing happens tonight against a feisty defense that leads the NFL in takeaways. Sam makes 2 crushing mistakes (strip sack, pick) that lead to cheap scores for a Browns offense that was otherwise contained. Browns 24 Jets 6 Cue up the LOLJets memes.
Meh, Miami's defense is severely underrated, although I do think Cleveland has the edge slightly. I'd be more concerned about ball security than I would be playing against Cleveland's defense.
If I'm predicting, I'll go 17-9 Browns win. Jets get out to early lead with two FG. Browns finally put a drive together to go into halftime up 7-6. We exchange FG, then the defense gives up a back breaking/game ending drive in the 4th quarter, thanks to a few holding calls/defensive pass interference on 3rd down. Darnold plays well, no turnovers, but just can't put points on the board. Jets then lose to Jacksonville, before righting the ship against Denver at home, but I think I'm getting a little ahead of myself.
The roster that Mac has put together is average, the CS is average, hence why the jets will be average to below average. I’m not convinced this team can put together a winning season as it is currently constructed. Browns are not good, but Jets make same mistakes in every game. Skrine, Claiborne, Tomlinson, oline is weak. Browns win 24-13
I can't vote. Because I want them to win, but I truly have no idea. This game is a total toss up to me.
I'm going to say yes the jets win the game. The browns have been smelling their own shit all week with the media slobbering on a browns teams cock that has gone unsucked for decades. Everyone and their mother is expecting the jets to be some sort of sacrificial lamb tonight, the browns are already planning the parade before the game has even begun. Browns debuting New endzones, new uniforms, pretty much dressing for their coronation. Fuck the browns, Jets win 30-17
again, this season is not about wins/losses - it's about getting the youngsters ready for next year. with that being said...I've got a bad feeling about this game.
Jets 24 Browns 13 Sam has a clean game, no turnovers. He’ll be running for his life but he seems at his best when he’s moving around. Defense shuts down Tyrod, forces a couple turnovers in what turns out to be his last start as a Brown.
