Sure, dump all over him, but treat Devin Smith a like a franchise player. Makes sense.

No one is singing his praises lol. Davis is in his 4th year, Smith is a rookie. Quit trolling.

Devin Smith has played 6 games in his career. 6! Would you stop with the stupidity for 5 minutes so the adults can have a conversation?

Who is treating Devin like a franchise player? Why? What for?

Anyone who's selling on Devin Smith already should just shut it. Way too early to lose faith in this kid. Gotta give him at least a full season, probably two, before I'm ready to say yes or no on him.

He has no business returning kicks. Outside of that there's not much to say so far, he deserves at least 2 full years before we can talk about what kind of player he is and might become. He did have a great catch against Gilmore over the middle I believe.

I look at last night as just a big demerit for him. His one catch for a first down was short lived. He was given opportunity to return kickoffs and failed to protect the football. His fumble 6 was devastating, and he had no impactful plays for the rest of the evening.

And I'm hoping his replacement is named Reggie Ragland (ILB - Alabama). Our 2016 first round pick.

I think he even did it on a 3rd and 20 play where he made a tackle on McCoy that was 1 yard shy of a first down. It's even worse than his stupid "look at my guns" flexing pose he did last year. The best thing about him is all his tackles are meaningless. He's usually the last guy to just fall on a running back and then he gets assisted with a tackle. He's like a washed up Ray Lewis minus the awareness.

Among the starters now, on both sides of the ball, Davis is imo far and away the worst. How much longer can he continue starting?

If you think our linebackers are bad just wait until you see our tight ends.

Mike Singletary was on NFL Network on thursday (Rich Eisen show). When asked about the best MLB in the game currently the first guy he mentioned was David Harris, loves the way he plays the game.
