Jets need to take a long look at this guy and really consider investing a pick in him. I think he could easily turn out to be the best QB in this draft. i know we have petty, but you dont pass on a potential good qb because you already have a young qb.

    make it happen mac

He'll be a Denver Bronco. Elway has been scouting him for a while now.

Dax is a scrub. He's not a successful next level quarterback. Prescott won't even sniff top 5 best QBs in this class. That's really saying something.

I haven't really seen him play much, but what I did see impressed me. He came off the bench in one of the all-star games, I think it was the Senior Bowl, and immediately moved his team down the field for a score showing some agile feet with quick accurate passes. That's not an easy thing to do. It's much easier to defend at these games. It wouldn't be the first time opinions have been wrong about a QB.

He almost threw 2 INTs. I specially recall one that he floated that was so ugly in the red zone. Straight into the safety's lap but he dropped it.

    Who is the 5th QB?

    Goff
    Wentz
    Lynch
    Cook
    ?????

    Are you referring to Hackenberg?

Dak would be a reach in the 1st 3 rounds - even then he would be carrying Petty's clipboard if the Jets take him..don't see that occuring

Damn. I totally thought Dakota Prescott was the name of a sexy southern girl. Very disappointed.

    This ^^^

Saw him play a lot, wasn't impressed at the combine. But the dude is an athlete and has a chance. Needs a lot of work on his throwing

Then we should draft him for sure.

Sheldon needs someone to party with.

At least Hackenberg is half way a QB, and has shown he can get the job done if he's polished up nice in the right situation.

Dak needs to learn how to pass and move beyond the athlete label.

I believe the appropriate response to this is: They don't ask how....they ask how many.

Dak isn't very impressive and with this DUI charge he's probably a 6-7 round pick if he even gets drafted...

I like Dak. I always respected him as a football player. He does a lot of things well and is a hell of a competitor. I am not as down on him as some of you are. it surprises me. If the DUI charge drops him in the draft than he would be a damn steal

He should convert to RB or TE. I don't think he's as bad a passer as Tebow (nobody is) but I do not like him as a passer in the NFL.

Didn't watch any college ball last year, so forgive my ignorance. Would Dak be better than a Vernon Adams or a Kevin Hogan? If so, why?

    This!

If Sheldon has someone to party with it will be easier to get him to sign an extension on reasonable terms.

Also, we could get a starting caliber QB in round five.
