It has been announced that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have fired their coach, Dirk Koetter. It has also been announced that Jacksonville is keeping their head coach, general manager and executive VP for football operations.

What's taking so long for the Jets? And how many coaches will get the axe? I believe it would make sense for the Offensive and Defensive Coordinators to leave with Bowles and keep the rest around for the new coach to decide.

Optimist: The Jets are firing Mac too and that takes longer.
Pessimist: Bowles will be back in 2019.
Realist: The Johnsons are slow man.

There will be a short delay in his firing. Bowles has just called his final time out, three hours after the game ended.

I think Rex should get his trifecta by immediately replacing Belichick in New England (before the playoff game in two weeks).

Seeing people on Twitter talking about how its racist that Arizona fired Wilkes after one year where Gruden, Patricia, and Shurmur are all alive after down years. What a joke. I can't tell if people are serious or just trying to bait and troll.

Lots of teams with vacancies already. Not sure who else can be canned. Maybe Patricia??

Finally Marvin Lewis walks the plank. I can't believe he lasted 16 goddamn years. If they promote Hue they're the laughingstock of the league.

Never can discount trolls on the internet, but these days? Plenty of people geniunely think anything negative happens to a minority = racism automatically.

We need another NFL laughing stock, particularly if we hire Caldwell after an extensive vetting process.

    Ya Gase is gone.

Rex Ryan for the Dolphins makes sense if you want to sell tickets and fill seats. Problem with him is the obvious though. He's a terrific D coordinator and a poor HC. If you hire Rex you best be sure you have a good Offensive Coordinator to go with him and a decent GM as well.

Wow! Just clicked on this now - sounds like the reporter really has it in for Steve Ross. Is it only because Ross doesn't talk to the media or is it personal?
