Do Bowles and Macc even talk about the Jets? Doesn't seem so. Hopefully, they will tell Bowels he's fired after the season. Wouldn't want him showing up. Could be awkward. http://www.espn.com/blog/new-york-j...nalty-prone-corner-surprising-their-own-coach
I don’t see anyway Bowles is back. I used to back him but these last three weeks he’s been terribly out coached in the 2nd halves. Terrible time outs, bad penalties, and for god sakes can he just throw something or yell at a player just once on the sideline when the fuck up! Show some emotion just once
Good to know Bowles is back in the doghouse. I was getting concerned a couple weeks ago when I was having to tell people Bowles isn't as good as they think he is. It's much more fun to defend him, which I can now get back to doing.
Mac really doesn't need Bowles' permission to trade for anyone. Especially when there's gaping hole at CB. The upside is that Macc doesn't have to spend a 1st. rd DP on a BPA-CB now unless Bowles insists on it.
Meh... it was a deadline deal. As a GM you're working the phones like crazy and might not have time to check in with the coach before the deal passes. I don't really see the issue here. I'm sure Bowles is happy to have another DB to work with.
Meh, Bowles was finishing practice when the trade went down. Is he supposed to be on the phone with Macc while doing practice?
Bowles seem blindsided by the news but we all have to remember GM and HC are not one in the same. Ideally, you would like for the GM to communicate to the HC and visa-versa so they can understand what needs to be done for both to succeed at their respective positions. I don't want to read too much into it because for all we know Bowles told Macc before that the CB position is weak and he went out and addressed it but I think Bowles is not a super bowl caliber coach and I think we'll forever be a middling team under him.
Here's what I'm guessing happened. They were in the market looking for CBs but it wasn't looking good. Last minute Mac got a deal done. Bowles just hadn't heard yet so he was going on what he knew pre-practice.
Meh...It's much better to feed into media trolls, that do everything they can to spin something negative even if it means making shit up to take a giant dump on somebody, so you can add to the pile
He was actually already in the press conference when the trade was finalized. The reporter who asked about it had just saw the announcement on Twitter as it broke.
