if the browns do make this trade in the off season, which I see why not if they were willing to trade him now. This. Ould really help the jets 8n the draft. This would take the browns out of the running for a qb especially if they give up a2nd and 3rd round draft choice. So Cleveland and the 49ers won’t need qbs now.

    I think
The Browns wanted to make the trade now to see what they have in mccaron and see if he fits in there future plans I don't think they will pass on drafting a qb. If they made the trade today, I could see it happening. But sorry to say they didn't.

If they were interested don’t you think they might want to after the season?

They can't figure out a trade in time ... what makes you think they can pick a QB

The fact that 2 teams figured to be on top of the draft were willing, and one ,able to trade for a qb mid season speaks volumes to what this upcoming qb class actually is.

Would have been good for the Jets..btw, doesn't somebody get fired over this? You now have one pissed off QB (or happy but not) and a GM that makes ours look competent.

Sure, but these teams don't have it figured out. Just like the rest of the league. Nearly everyone thought the 2016 QB class was the weakest in years. Turns out they are probably the best QB 1-2 QBs selected in years. People thought Trubisky was better than Watson. Turns out Trubisky is entirely unprepared throwing at a lofty 47% with 120 yd/game average, while Watson is throwing at 62% and leading the NFL in TD passes...

Well to be fair to Trubisky the Bears don't exactly have much in the way of offensive weapons while the Texans have Hopkins and Fuller. actually the bears don't have much of anything on the offensive side right now.

That said, a handful of games by both QB's isn't enough to make a long term judgment even if the surrounding support staff were roughly the same.

right, but this was suppose to be the greatest of classes, the class to tank for. do you think the 9ers trade for a garapolo type if there is a luck or even winston coming into 2018?
