I don't think Williams is a bust. That said, if you are (understandably) not ready to hand him a big contract, it would be malpractice to not at least look around to see what he's worth in a trade.
I didn't understand all the hand-slapping when we drafted him. There was talk everywhere that we got the best player in the draft at #6. I had a 2nd-round grade on the guy. He's been slightly better than Vernon Gholston..........
Get your application form sent into the jets for the scout team immediately, I will ignore the outlandish Vern comparison as that let you down a little but I am guessing you were exaggerating just for the laughs.
LMAO!!!!! You are delusional, sorry. The Jets didn't have any other better options with that pick, and he's still one of the best out of that top 10 from that year. There's only a handful of guys you can rank higher and most of them were not considered better at the time. Sorry, but comparing a guy that made the pro bowl to Gholston, a complete bust, is laughable.
The rest of the line blows? PFF Grades: https://www.profootballfocus.com/nfl/players/mike-pennel/9316 87.1 https://www.profootballfocus.com/nfl/players/henry-anderson/9526 76.5 https://www.profootballfocus.com/nfl/players/steve-mclendon/5232 78.5 https://www.profootballfocus.com/nfl/players/leonard-williams/9439 78.2 I wouldn't say any of them blow. LW isn't worth the $14M+ if he isn't greatly outperforming them and posting in the 90s.
