Chances Jets start 4-1?

4-1 is possible but so is 1-4. I am rooting for the latter one. We aren't winning the Superbowl anyway. And Bowles is a schmuck. Just lose and secure a top 3 pick baby.

 

I could see them going 2-3.... Maybe wins against the Bills and Browns....Cutler sucks but is good enough to torch our defence with alot of weopons. The Jags are a more complete team...the Raiders no chance.

 

I am rooting for 1-0 every week. I am not taking the coward's way out and giving up on my team. If they happen to go 1-15 and get the number 1 pick, I'm not going to complain, but I want to watch my team play well and win.

 

Maybe we should all go fishing.

 

At best I can see them going 2-3, Dolphins and Raiders are for sure losses IMO. Up for debate is Bills Browns Jags. Bills at home, Taylor playing, Shady McCoy = loss, Browns depends on if Kizer can survive under real game time situations and whether Myles Garrett plays which is looking unlikely, Jags have no QB but their defense is stacked.

 

I don't know what our defense actually is yet...Until I have a better idea of what they are it's tough to say .

This is by far the most reasonable post regarding tanking I have seen. The idea of tanking to get a so called FQB flies in the face of NFL history, not to mention in the face of USC history who has yet to produce a FQB outside of may be Carson Palmer.
I still believe the best of all words is to have Petty or Hack make the move and prove us all wrong.

It's not giving up on the team if you want them to lose. It's being realistic about the team.

But to start the season, I'm more excited about building for the next few years than a few weeks of enjoyment this year.

 

Yes, 4-1 would mean outscoring four opponents. Won't be easy.

 

Brown & jags I think could be losses..both teams are inept but more talented than the Jets.

Oddly enough I'm confident about Miami.i dont think they're all that great & we owe them some payback for last season

Buffalo I'm still unsure about.Teams are likely even all things considered but Bills are even worse than the Jets within situational football.That said the jets are a horrid road team w no greater example than Orchard Park. Hard to make heads or tails.If our defense plays better than their offense we likely win.

 

It all starts Sunday. We win we can be 3-2. If we lose I say 1-4. It's that big of a game. Plus shut every hater up. The worst team in the league my ass. Bills are favored by 10. I jumped on that. Blows away that spread. Jets are gonna make me some money this year with the spread

 

I can't root against tbe jets until our record is bad and tbe season is over. I don't care if dan Marino is being recreated I can never root against to start tbe season. Ever

I agree with you wholeheartedly. anyone who roots for their team to lose, just to secure a high draft pick, isn't much of a fan.
